Description

Anna Masters is an internationally recognised artist whose practice includes public art, mixed-media works and site-specific installations. Infused with delicacy and etherial narratives, Masters' poetic practice explores the connections that are born between time, place and identity. In particular, her works ask questions about how we can feel safe within an environment, and how external influences shape the narratives we inhabit. Drawn towards natural and wild landscapes, we can see aspects of her own journey reflected in many of her works, as she navigates towards her own concept of 'home'. Her art becomes a tapestry of emotions, a reflection of the human experience, and the contemplation of our shared place in the world.

Masters graduated from Staffordshire University in 2004 with a First Class Honours Degree in Fine Art, and holds Masters degrees in Arts Policy and Management (Birkbeck, University of London) and Public Art and Performative Practice (London Metropolitan University). She has created bespoke commissions and exhibitions for luxury hospitality brands internationally. Her works are held in public and private collections internationally and are represented exclusively by Les Galeries Bartoux.
